So impressed and loved every minute!
My husband and I opted to stay here while we were touring the country for 11 days for a break from the hustle bustle of driving here and there. Easily, the best decision we ever made and easily the best experience at a resort I have ever had. Accommodations are prime and the staff is highly professional and extremely friendly. The airport had lost both of my bags when we landed in Dublin and upon our arrival to Castelmartyr, the staff had provided the essentials for me in the room before ever even needing to ask. The resort is peaceful, serene, and relaxing and the breakfasts in the morning are superb. My husband and I don’t like to stay at the same place twice. We always look to experience something new. But, if we ever make it back to Ireland, we will definitely try to stay here again and we are recommending it to all friends and family! Amazing!! Go and see for yourself.
Not much to do or see in Castlemartyr itself. The town is tiny and quiet but for us, that was exactly the appeal. If you’re in for some peace and relaxation, this is your place. Location is conducive to traveling to sites nearby but resort is able to accommodate activities on site and keep you busy if that’s your wish. Take the time to enjoy the impressive breakfast in the mornings and to walk the grounds. Spa is top notch. Pool area is gorgeous encased in glass and there is a game area to keep kids stimulated. Resort will provide bikes for you to explore the area.
