Few complaints
I can’t say much about the bar or dining area as I literally walked in late, went to my room, got up the following day and left. However the hotel is of a god standard as it is very new, rooms are about average size. There are also some nice touches like flat panel TVs in all rooms, quick lifts, and free water/ice machines down room corridors. This hotel is reasonable close to Swindon station and town centre, there is a 24 hour lit multi story car park a few mins walk just next door. Parking per day via the hotel is 5 quid which is reasonable. Only complaint... the receptionist made an error coding my room card and I had to return to have it re-done.

Muat do better
The card access to the lift and room was continually faulty and almost every day of the five/six days needed one or two trips to get the lift or room access arranged. The food was quite good but service very slow and at one point left because the ordered dessert just did not arrive although it was said to be in preparation!

internet access rates are expensive so ypur own braodband link is better. when many hotels provide it for free it will be an inf;luence for another stay.

Excellent central Hotel
We stayed for a three night break the breakfast was excellent you had a choice of continental or full english it was served buffet style and you could help yourself as many times as you like. The Hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The STEAM train museum was very interesting but apart from that there was not much else to see. Oxford which is only 45mins by train was well worth the visit. The bus service on Sunday is terrible we couldnt go to Blunsdon Railway as there were no busses at all.
