Good Value & Location for Amtrak Travellers
Metro Plaza was a good central location. Within walking distance to Union Station for access to the Metro. I was concerned about the requirement of signing a blank credit card slip as a security deposit upon arrival. And there was no quest laundry facility. Other than that I had a good stay.

Convenient for Train Travelers & Transit Riders
This is the closest hotel to Union Station in Los Angeles and is very convenient if you are traveling by train. It is also moderately-priced for a hotel so convenient to transit and it is near Chinatown and El Pueblo de Los Angeles State Historic Park.
