Clean, Comfortable and Convenient
We chose this hotel because it was convenient to the various locations around Manchester that we planned to visit. It was a good choice. There was ample parking (for a daily fee), the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast buffet was extensive and of good quality, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Whether traveling on via air from Manchester or just looking for a hotel convenient to the area, the Hilton at Manchester Airport is would be a good choice.
Traveller's tip on dining
The hotel reception recommended a local pub for dinner that was a very good choice. Good food, atmosphere and service at reasonable prices. Suggest you ask for recommendations as this was a good one.

Expensive Internet and Resturant
Charge for internet service is too high ($24.45 per day). Next time I would choose another hotel with free or low cost internet service. The resturant was also quite expensive and there were no less expensive options like pastries for breakfast.

Good Service
The air cooling system in my room did not work (only blew hot air)but the staff was very willing to quickly let me change to another room, even upgrading me to a delux room for the trouble.
