Our time at Xtabi, Negril
Our room was clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.Our room was ’bug free’ which was great!However, the staff in the Reception area were not helpful at all.Our room were extremely hot as the A/C blew out hot air.The shower head sprayed water onto the floor that created a mini swimming pool.The Bar staff were brilliant as they were very friendly.Big up to Omar for taking me into the caves!It was brilliant! However,the best thing about Xtabi was Omar the security guard.Every night we went out and returned to Xtabi, Omar would be there ready to talk about your day and would accompany us back to our room. He was brilliant and actually went far beyond his role in many ways. He was professional at all times and showed that he was keen to help and serve the public. Kingsley the driver was brilliant. There were only a few people staying at the hotel so it would not be difficult to remember the names of the guests.At no time did the Receptionist staff or Manager refer to us by name. However, Omar always greeted us by saying our names. Such small touches do make a difference.Xtabi is a pleasant resort, although they could make changes by greeting and smiling at their guests,generating and engaging in conversations with guests and improve their general customer service.

Xtabi--Beautiful and Relaxing
Xtabi is a great place to vacation. The grounds are beautiful and private, the views amazing and the staff are wonderful.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Book your airport transfer through the hotel. Their driver is great and only $60 for 2 people.

Would recommend but needs a television.
I enjoyed my stay at this location but my boyfriend and I were bored to death because there was no television in the room. I’m not a very picky person, but you definitely need a television, especially after being out all day on the beach, shopping, etc. we wanted to come back relax and watch a little television. Overall it was a great value for the money, and the staff was very friendly.
