wonderful area to explore for days
Great location and the directions to get there were right on. Nice room and the hotel staff was very helpful. The breakfast was a highlight. Such a beautiful assortment of breads, and even eggs and bacon. The rooms and open spaces were very pretty. Hope they continue to keep the place up.
Traveller's tip on dining
We went into the old city center and the great church. We have been there about a dozen years ago. The shops and resturants have grown in that time...lots of good options.

Nice hotel in the lovely city of Beaune
Updated room and bath were very nice. Also flat screen TV and free internet. Good breakfast. Just a few blocks from the train station (turn left and walk along the street by the tracks for the shortest walk) We booked asking for 2 twins and upon arrival found that our reservation was just a double bed in the older section. We paid the additional money to upgrade to an updated room with a queen bed and a twin. For the additional money would have considered some of the hotels in the city center.
