Definitely recommended!
This hotel was a lovely place to stay! Its off the main tourist street, so its quiet, but a quick walk around a corner brings you right to all the action. The rooms are clean and bright, the "Sunset Terrace" offers great views, the pool is a perfect place to relax, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Lovely little hotel
Lovely hotel with great service, breakfast, sunset terrace and pool. We loved the location-Oia is very pretty and peaceful and seemed a lot less congested than Fira. There were doors from the breakfast room leading right into the town center which I thought was cool. I loved the style of the hotel-being what I thought was more traditional Greek island housing with the white walls and roofs and terracotta pots. The rooms were pretty basic and the bed a bit hard but we encountered hard beds in all 3 hotels we stayed in while in Greece. We had a little kitchenette with a stove, sink and mini fridge which we used to stock some beer, wine and water. The bus stop was close by and taxis were about 25 euros to the airport / ferry port. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aethrio.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
If you do the boat tour to the Volcanic island, I suggest NOT buying lunch where the guide suggests. The food was ok but it was about $15 euros per person and there were many other tavernas with shorter lines, seaside tables and cheaper prices. Some people bought Gyros for about $7 euros and sat on the pebble beach. Just a suggestion.

Good location hotel
Quality of services were higher than expected. The atmosphere was superb and the best location to see sunset from the provided sun-terrace.
