Perfect place for those who like to travel
Very convenient hotel in respect of location, room, service. If you are not planning to spend whole days in your room, this hotel is a perfect choice.

Great location mediocre hotel
AS most European hotel rooms are small, one has to expect it here as well. Although the hotel was renovated, it was almost impossible to get into to the shower, as the shower door was touching the toilet when opened...you have to actually push the door INTO the shower and get in that way....also the regular rooms are very small...that being said, you will probably spend most of your time running around the wonderful city of Amsterdam, so you are not hanging out in your room that much....so for just showering and sleeping its ok, as the location is GREAT! its close to the center, and you are in walking distance to the Heineken experience, the Van Gough museum and others. the trams are near, as well as canal tours. We complained about the room and they agreed to upgrade us to a triple room that had three beds, so the room was much larger...the problem was the the heat did not work, but they were fast to bring us space heaters...they try their best to make you happy, which was appreciated by us-and they throw in a free breakfast for the inconvenience. The breakfast buffet is good, and based on prices in Europe, you are advised to buy it in advance for 12.50 Euro (at the time of writing its about $18), otherwise on the morning of, you will pay 17.50 Euro. I would still recommend the hotel based on location, and overall cleanliness, and comfort...as long as size does not matter to you......enjoy Amsterdam!
