Disappointing compared to other times Ive stayed there.
Ive stayed at the Biltmore before, and this stay was disappointing compared to other times. As stated, had trouble with room key. Bathroom sink was sluggish and hot water was only a trickle (was OK in tub/shower, though). In-room coffee maker brewed coffee the color and taste of weak tea. Old-fashioned analog TV set in room (not digital or wide screen). High-speed internet access is not free. Room service and on-premises restaurants are very expensive. No complimentary breakfast. But bed was comfortable and room was quiet and dark. Will not rule out another stay, but Ill probably also look at other hotels the next time Im in Los Angeles.

Good hotel
Very nice hotel. However, if you are a traditional tourist, the location is not good; Its far from Hollywood. Even though the metro is right across the street, it is a bit scetchy and we were recommended by several people to take a cab instead. If you are renting a car, it would be easier. Also, the neighboorhood is also a bit scetchy as the hotel is located downtown. The street is pretty good, but the streets surrounding the hotel, is something else. Nice hotel though, very nice staff, very comfortable beds; worth the price (If you have a car, and dont have to take a cab everywhere)

Very noisy hotel
The Hotel is stunning. We arrived on a Saturday night and the foyer was over run with wedding guests and partyers! We got checked in. Went to our room. The bathtub was cracked. VER NOISY bathroom. Went to sleep and even with windows and shutters closed, the noise from the street was very loud. The street was also blocked off for a movie shoot the next day which made it hard to get anywhere. Beuatiful hotel if it wasnt for the noise.
