Presentable Budget Hotel
The hotel is OK. Soft bed, reasonable sized rooms, redecorated some years ago. During trade shows, you fill find better prices, but this one is more presentable if you will have people picking you up at your hotel. There is a 7-11 couple blocks away. Entrance on the backstreet is handy too.

GREAT HOTEL OVERLOOKING THE PEARL RIVER!
HOTEL IS DEFINITELY VALUE FOR MONEY. THE HOTEL STAFF ARE COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. BUFFET BREAKFAST LOCATED IN FORTH FLOOR WITH BREATAKING VIEW OF THE RIVER. LOCATION IS VERY CENTRAL ONLY FIVE HUNDRED METRES FROM BEIJING LU. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!

Not good enough
I have stayed here more than once, and thought I would give it another try. To my opinion everything is just not good enough and I didn’t see improvement compared my last visit in April 2009. Very slow and not so friendly staff. Really bad bathroom without any shower curtain (probably because it is so very small) so al stuff including the toilet and all stuff on the sink get wet. If you want to use the sink or toilet after showering you stand in the remaining shower water on the floor and sit on a wet toilet. It all just looks it needs attention urgently which just is not given to it. There are many more hotels in GZ which cost less and deliver more.
