Best hotel by far in Bangkok for your money.
New hotel with beautiful garden along the river. Very attentive and polite staffs from doorman to waiters to receiptionist. I had a wonderful 7 nights stay and would not hasitate to recommen this beautiful hotel. What luxury and comfort . And the price is cheap too. What a deal. I’ll be there again in Jan 2010. Thank you Chatrium.
The hotel provide ferry service to the Skytrain station with is 3/4 mile away. The boat ride itself is wonderful where you get to feel the busy river activities. Many hotels provide boats services. There are also water transports for local to travel along the river. The ferry pier is busy from 6:am to 10:00pm and is worth a visit itself.

Excellent stay at Chatrium Suites
We stayed at Chatrium Suites for 4 nights in october. The taxi driver from the airport did have some difficulty in finding the hotel-best to take a print out from googlemaps to show them. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and showed us to our river view room. This was a very large room, smartly furnished with a kitchenette which included a microwave,fridge and a small hob. The views of the river were wonderful and it was nice to watch all the boats go past.. Breakfast was included our room rate and there was a good selection of hot and cold dishes including rice,dim sum,sushi+omelettes.The hotel had a free shuttle boat service to the nearest skytrain stop. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The only downside is that the hotel is a little further out than other central hotels and in the evenings there was not much of choice of restaurants near the hotel. However we had a great time and would definitely return again.
We found the best places to eat were in the food courts which are found in most shopping malls. The food is prepared in a hygienic environment and there is lots of choice of dishes at very reasonable prices.

Very comfortable hotel
Nice being on the river, and complimentary water taxi to Central Pier great. Nice views from our room, and great having an outdoor pool. Don’t expect to cook though, as kitchen has all appliances, but no pots/pans etc.
