Clean and comfortable

We emjoyed our stay at the Duxford Lodge. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast in the restaurant on site- and the grounds were very pleasant. However, we did not realize (though we had written ahead to ask how we should get to the hotel) that the nearest train station (Whittlesford Pkwy) would not have a taxi line. In fact, when we arrived, the station was deserted. We couldn’t get a call to go through on our US phones, but luckily found a pub across the tracks that let us use the phone to call a taxi. If you go by train-- just get off in Cambridge and take a taxi from there!
