Good Hotel for the price, not a bad location either
We were looking for something slightly above the guesthouse/hostel environment and found what we were looking for at the Elegance Suites. The room was spacious and the staff friendly. The breakfast buffet has both Western and Thai dishes and is included in the cost of your room. It was good, but remember that for about $1, you can go get a delicious bowl of noodles on the street. This is a good place to stay for the price if you’re looking for comfort and mobility.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
It’s located close to a SkyTrain stop and close to a main riverboat taxi port, so getting around town was easy. The area isn’t bustling with bars or restaurants, but we found a few good eats within a short walking distance. One quick note: make sure to get an address in Thai AND a phone number. It’s a relatively new Hotel and it doesn’t go by the name QSilom, it goes by Elegance Suites in Bang Rak. Taxi and tuk-tuk drivers may not know where it is.
