Very good base
The hotel is located on the main tourist strip about 5 minutes walk from the Tomb of the Kings and 15 minutes from the habour and the Unesco world heritage site. The rooms are large, clean and have great balconies. We got the cheapest room and were very happy. I think the cheaper rooms are better because they do no face the pool and bar and so are much quieter. The restaurant was good we ate there once and everyone we spoke to on half board or full board was very happy. Paphos itself is a bit tacky, lots of flashing neon British pubs and cabarets (strip clubs). But it is easy to hire a car or moped and explore the nature reserves to the north or the mountains.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
To save money be careful not to buy things in the kiosks on the strip, there is a supermarket just five minutes walk away where prices are 30-50% lower. Ask the reception for directions.

Value for money could not be better.
Great, helpful staff, excellent meals(we were half-board)and spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area. On main road but it didn’t bother us. Beaches nearby but not sandy. Hire car needed to really profit from the area, Golfers - don’t miss the superb Secret Valley course. Avoid the Aphrodite Hills course - greatly overated with rip-off green fees and extortionate meal/refreshment costs.
