A fine welcome to Burlington, VT

This was our first visit to VT in 40 years and our first stay in this chain. We only stayed 2 nights but we wish it could have been more. The room was very good, although lacking a refrigerator. I wish I had had time to use the pool. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast arrangements were excellent with good choice and quality and accommodated in a spacious, comfortable area off the lobby. Access to Burlington centre is quick and easy via Rte 89.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

Parking is easy in Burlington (!). We had good weather and are reasonably fit so we hired bikes and covered 16 miles on the Local Motion trail out into Lake Champlain - unique and good fun. If driving up from NH on 89 a visit to the beautiful Welcome Center/ War Memorial will surely please you.
