Good value for location
Have stayed at the Tyrolean a few times over the years. Has the feel of a locally owned motel. Room very nice, lobby is comfortable and good place to gather. Good location - can easily walk to most restaurants and shopping in Ketchum. Right on road to River Run ski lift side of Baldy. Is every bit as nice as other motels in town that charge 50%-100% more per night. It’s been around a while but has been well maintained and updated. Best price was found on Expedia.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Plan something outdoors while in Ketchum. Can walk to Wood River from Tyrolean, drive up Sun Valley Road to Hemingway Memorial and go for a walk or bike on the well developed bike path system. Walk to Main Street. The real appeal is the outdoors.
