Excellent Hotel

I don’t usually write reviews, but felt I should for this hotel. The service and cleanliness were excellent and didn’t find out until we checked out that the hotel was closing for the winter the next day. We stayed in a family room which had a double and a single, the single being a proper bed not a camp bed, which went down very well with my daughter. There was a large bathroom and lots of storage and space in the main bedroom. We were in room 36. View was of the car park, but hey we weren’t looking out the window that much. It there was anything we would say is that there was a damp patch on the ceiling which could have been made good, but now knowing that the hotel was about to close for the winter, hope they rectify it before the reopen. The bar area was spacious and light and the breakfast was excellent good choice. We are usually very picky with hotels, but what you see on the website is what you get. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking is a little tight and it is about a 10 min walk into the centre of St Hellier, again not really a problem for us. Would go back and would recommend it.

Get a small car at the airport easier to get around the island.

excellent value for money

Friendly and effecient staff. clean and comfortable bedrooms.Good spacious Restauranr and Bar area. Only drawback was that the dinner menu didn’t change in the three days we were there. I would thoroughly recommend The Hampshire for both Business and Tourist visitors to Jersey.
