Ideal stop over b and b
Staff very helpful. Very good for a one night stop over, but not walking distance to restaurant areas if considering a longer stay.

More like a hotel then a B&B...which was good!
Most B&Bs in Ireland are small and a bit cramped but quaint. The Amber Bay guest house was great because it was more like a really nice hotel, but with a homemade breakfast! The service was wonderful, our room was so nice and decorated in a very modern way. There is free Wi-Fi and a computer that you can use to connect to the internet. The Guest house is within a little cluster of other places to stay and about a mile, mile and a half from Galway city center. My boyfriend and I were able to take a few nice walks along the prom from the Amber Bay into Salthill. Room also had a mini fridge, TV and a DVD player!

Very Pleased
Wifi was a little spotty, but otherwise our stay was perfect. Our room was on the front and the views of an arm of Galway Bay were terrific. The room was nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Plenty of choices for warm and cold items for breakfast
