VERY LOW KEY AND VERY QUIET
Some people may want a lot of action during their stay, but we prefer it qiuet and peaceful. For us.. this was the perfect place, I think it had alot to do with the time of year (early October) and maybe the economy. The place is a bit dated but our room was very comfortable, and very spacious. The A/C worked great in the bedroom but not as good in the living room. We just kept the bedroom door open in the daytime and closed at night to keep it really cool. The staff was wonderful to us. I can not say enough about the beach, it was very clean and the water was warm. Whatever you need just ask the front desk, I am sure they will accomodate you. The food was always good, there were only 2-3 buffets when we were there, so we always got to order fresh from the menu.

Place is dead
It was deserted. The food was horrible. I checked-out after the 1st day and stayed at another resort.

Not a true ’all-inclusive’ hotel
This hotel made a good impression with the fruit punch they provided for us to drink while we were checking in as we travelled a few hours to get there from Kingston. The check-in process was quick and easy. We were a bit disappointed with the room as the furnishings and decor were a bit dated, however, as it is an older hotel, we worked with it. It really wasn’t a true ’all-inclusive’ hotel where food and beverages are available all day long...meals were at a set time...be there at that time or go hungry!!! The menu choice was quite limited but, I must say, the food served was delicious!! Activities seemed to be limited as well but that could be related to us staying mid-week. Overall, a reasonable hotel to stay in while in the Ocho Rios area but not an ’all-inclusive’ by no means!!!
