Will travel the extra few miles to another hotel next time
Upon check-in I was not provided with the priority status although aa member. Received a card for a free driknbk the second day when I asked about our status. Our room had no toiletries at all. SInce we arrived in the PM and had a dinner appt., I didn’t discover the lack of soap & shampoo until I was undressed in the shower in the early AM. During the night we had to shut off the heat because it made so much noise afdter it ran for more than 15 minutes. Our internet connection was non-existent. After speaking to the front desk, and housekeeping, maintenance was sent to our room. He said there was nothing wrong with the heat. My husband is a retired ac/heating tech and said the condenser is bad, and when HE looked at it, it was filthy. SImple preventative maintenance would be helpful! lso, our internet cable was replaced. Still no internet connection. SInce I used the laptop the previous day in HI Express in Richmond, and again on our return to NC at another HI Express, I know it is not my equipment. I will not stay at this hotel again when returning to visit my daughter. Horseheads will do just fine if less convenient.
