Downtown Luxury with great service
The Westage Hotel is a luxury hotel that seeks to differentiate itself from its competition by its level of service. Every interaction with hotel staff was pleasant and friendly. From the valet, to check-in, to room service, to the wonderful Happy Hour at the Plaza Lounge and the excellent tea served in the lobby, each employee was helpful and accomodating. The decor reminded me of some of the better hotels I have stayed at in Europe, though it may be a little overdone for some tastes. The location is convenient to Horton Plaza and the Gaslamp Quarter, and the trolley stop is next door to the hotel. My only caveat, the next building over has a nightclub on Saturday nights on the roof (the roof retracts) and the music was quite loud past 2am.

High star hotel
Everything was excellent. Right from checking in to check--out. Our room service was impeccable. Everything that we saw in the reviews were true. A very good place to stay and definitely will stay here again in the future.

Very nice
Everything was lovely at the hotel. We did not eat at the hotel restraunt as we walked to gaslamp and took the metro to old town. If you want a swimming pool the hotel does not have one. The message was wonderful, though the "spa" was actually a little room inside the workout room, which was fine but if your looking for the "full treatment" spa, you won’t find it.
