Better to avoid this place and stay in Providence
The hotel is old and smells. The hallways still had old ash trays attached to them and the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. I assume the hotel was nonsmoking but you wouldn’t know it by walking through the hallways. There is a full free breakfast -- but it would be better to stay some place else and go out for breakfast because the food was ice cold and didn’t taste very good in the first place.

Excellent Value and Great Proximity
We have a daughter who is a freshman at Brown University and needed a place to stay that was economical. Because of the reviews that I saw here at expedia, I decided to book this hotel and concur with all the positive reviews. Excellent proximity to downtown Providence, clean and comfortable rooms and great buffet breakfast among the highlights.

When traveling to hotel take first exit in Mass. as opposed to exit in RI as my gps and mapquest indicated.

Very good accomodations for the price and location to nearby cities
Traveller's tip
Excellent breakfast buffet that came with the overnight stay. Beats trying to dash through a drive thru for something quick!
