Tired, small, under invested in capital improvements
The staff were courteous but not particularly attentive. My room was small and the other end of the spectrum from luxurious.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
O2 Centre for movies is a short walk away. Excellent diversion.

Simple but good hotel
Very convenient both to Hampstead and the rest of London with an underground station very near that easily connects to all over the city.

A quiet and convenient retreat
My wife and I stayed here for two nights in late June at the weekend. Set in a very quiet road, it is just a short walk from Finchley Road tube, and close to the shopping centre and cinema complex. We booked a superior room and would advise doing this as my daughter and son-in-law had a standard room which was very small. The continental breakfast (included) was well varied, and the staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. The place has character, unlike many of the concrete block alternatives.
