Great for the price... easy from SFO and to BART
I was a bit worried about this type of hotel... having had bad experiences in the past, but wanted to be close enough to BART to catch it early the next morning and the price was right. Everything was very nice... nothing fancy, but for a quick night it fine. The neighborhood felt very safe and I didn’t need to walk far to have a great sushi dinner. The next morning the BART station was basically across the street so getting into the city was no problem. My only complaint was the SFO shuttle pick up. Unlike all the other area hotels, you must call the hotel to let them know you are waiting. There are shuttles that serve groups of hotels, including another TravelLodge, but after waiting almost 30 minutes (I was reading so lost track of time) I finally called and had to wait another 20 minutes for them to get there. If I had known to call when I landed it would have been fine. Just do that and this is a very clean, safe, convienient place to stay when coming into SFO... at the right price.

Great location !
Room was clean, new carpet, nice breakfast and great location, right across a BART station. Only inconvenience was that I couldn’t figure out how to access the Internet service.
