Not Impressed

I stayed at this Hotel for Valentines weekend with my wife and we were not impressed. The hotel rooms were very small and cheaply furnished. The bed was also very uncomfortable. The rooms themselves are reasonably clean and the en-suite shower room, though small, was functional. The rooms are reached by narrow stairs that are at a perculiar angle or an ancient lift that will carry up to 2 persons (internal cage door type). The entertainment was poor with a guy who was a poor excuse for a singer come entertainer. I was served at the bar with a very cloudy pint of beer on 2 occasions, which was changed when requested with a comment that I was the only person to complain. I then swapped my drinks choice. The Breakfast buffet was fine...not great quality, but acceptable. Fruit Juice or Cereal starter and a full English. Tea and coffee and a rack of toast were supplied on request by the pleasant serving staff. Parking was very poor with an over full car park both front and back and I ended up paying 12 pounds at a nearby pay and display car park. Overall, we were disappointed with Tiffanys. It did not live up to it’s advertised standard. We will try elsewhere next time.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

The Grand Theatre is very impressive and has some great shows.
