Basic, but pleasant and very friendly
Initial impressions were rather disappointing, but that really didn’t do the hotel justice. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the room, although very small, was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts again were good rather than outstanding, but overall the stay was fine. If you are expecting luxury, look elsewhere, but if what you’re after is a clean, friednly base, this will do the job! Being located opposite the Sudbahn-Hof means a one stop bus trip from the airport, and it’s only a short walk from the U-Bahn too!

Great location to south train station
My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. It is across the street from sudbanhof-the south train station. Our room was on the street, but because of 2 sets of windows, we did not hear the traffic on the street below. Very nice breakfast and very comfortable and affordable hotel.

This hotel is close to the Belvedere and easy to get to the Graben-either my walking or taking the bus.

Well pleased.
An excellant hotel with very helpful staff. No restaurant but plenty nearby also bank/cash machines almost next door. A little way from the centre but tramline D from close by takes you to centre of city in few minutes, also direct tram to Prater Pleasure Park. Belvedere Palace and gardens 100 yards away. Bus from airport stops right opposite at Sudbanhof station, which is also handy if you want an excursion to Bratislava 1 hour away. There is a small supermarket and other shops at the station.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Buy a 24 or 72 hour travel pass. They cover all forms of transport in the city which must have one of the best transport systems in Europe.
