reasonable price but not luxury
cheap and cheerful, quite location - even at the airport. Room was a bit run down with stains on the carpets and bed covers, shower good, bed comfortable, heating not too hot, windows open. easy to find and park. close to Yarm for night out.

Excellent value
Good, clean hotel with courteous and friendly staff. Modest rates and good value restaurant and good bar meals. Surprisingly quiet considering this is within sight of Teeside Int’l runway. Interesting history WWII Canadian RAF base.

Bandits at four o’clock
Bomber command HQ - now converted to a hotel - highlight is the officers mess bar - relive the Biggles era in the oak pannelled guard room - Room excellent - militarily efficient - Wonderful iron - comfy bed - efficient alarm call - Bar/ restaurant veery short staffed, but food great once it eventually turned up
