Lovely hotel- but don’t go out
This hotel is not easy to find and on the drive there we were dreading arriving as the local area is run down and very poor and shabby - much like the rest of Sicily. However, once admitted to the gated complex there is everything you could need for a short stay - pool, beach, 3 bars 3 restaurants and excellent service from all the staff. The rooms are large and very well appointed with stunning views across the bay from a large balcony equipped with table and loungers. It is a lovely place but don’t stay long as there is nowhere to go at night outside of the hotel. It’s a good spot to explore the south and west of the island and even for a day trip to Palermo (any longer is a waste). Good rates too and excellent food both at breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful View of the Sea
We were there in February, which is the off season to them. The hotel was being worked on which we thought was nice that the keep the place looking nice. I think we were one of the only guests. At first we were surprised that we weren’t up graded to a better room especially since the price wasn’t exactly cheap. They walked us to one of the furthest rooms in the place. Then our heater broke down during the night. the heater couldn’t be fixed so they upgraded us to a better room which was nice and they also sent a bottle of wine and fruit to our room for free. This attention to customer satisfaction was very positive to us. And they also had the chef come in to cook for just us, which was very nice and sort of strange eating in a dining room with one other guests. I would recommend this hotel because they seemed to care about their guests.
