Pool cold!!
indoor pool cold- was set at 80- after complaint to management it was raised to 84- still too cold for winter indoor pool. Continental breakfast was poor- stale muffins and bagels, with white toast only Management and desk help were friendly and helpful, but above 2 items remain a problem

not so great....
Room price was OK if all you care about is cost. Property looks 10 years overdue for remodeling. Like others here, I question why is there a cost for parking in an office building neighborhood? Room was skimpy on towels. Traffic noise from freeway was noticable. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS A JOKE. Most meager I have ever seen. Note to hotel: dont worry about breakfast coupons, no one would bother to crash your breakfast. I have had better free breakfast at $50/ night truckers hotel.
Stay in Mississauga if it fits your plans. Much cheaper and newer.

Not for business travel
Stayed for 5 nights on a business trip. Upon arrival I could not get on the wireless network. I could see every other businesses router but the Yorkland. Their tech support "tried" to help but were less than successful. I asked if they had a hardwire connection. They "do", behind the headboard(very convenient). When I moved the mattress and located the area where the network jack was...there was nothing but a hole in the wall. Front desk then moved me to a room where they knew there was a jack. Well the face plate was on the wall but nothing behind it. Monday came and went and there was no internet/e-mail. Tuesday evening still the same result. I asked to move to a room and had the desk clerk come up and verify the presence of a network jack in the room. I connected and thought it was solved. Well the network was so slow and it dropped constantly that I would have been better off with an old 56K dial up modem. The continental breakfast was less than adequate. Toast, choice of 2 types of danish. Cereal choice was yes or no...when they had cereal there was only one kind. They charge $5.00CAD for parking in an unsecured lot. The Yorkland needs to drop that policy, in my opinion. Business travelers, youre better served going someplace else.
