Excellent Hotel

Excellent Hotel/location from pyramids. Keep in mind its about 1hr drive from Cairo Airport by taxi, at a cost of 130 egyptian pounds. No problems at check in, quick and easy. Staff spoke excellent english, as well as other languages. Doorman very helpful, answered any questions as did all staff on site. Hotel has 3 restuarants on site, reasonably priced. Has a bank on site helpful for exchanging money, as well as gift shops. Very nice swimming pool. Pyramids visible from swimming pool. **Get a room with a pyramid view, wont be dissapointed. Excellent view of the 2 big pyramids, you can see them clearly, awesome site. Beds very comfortable, good selection of tv channels, mini bar (little expensive) *Taxi/tour availabe to pyramids, museum, etc. from hotel. Very safe, reliable, informative. **Will stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel

This hotel was nice. Not amazing, but perfectly nice. Great value for money. The reception area is lovely and the rooms are perfecty acceptable. Make sure though that you ask for a quiet room on check in as there is a very noisy road outside. The pool is nice but there was alot of building work happening when we were there. Service very good. Couldn’t do enough to help (though tipping gets expensive due to this).

Traveller's tip on dining

For food I would recommend going to the Mena House just down the road. You can walk and that really is something special!! For cheap food there is a great felafel place next door. Two of us ate for about 4 GBP and it won’t poison you. Just steer clear of the salad.
