Right at the heart of the exclusive Montecatini Spa town
Excellent hotel, very high-quality. Positioned within walking distance of main station (Montecatini Centro) and town centre. This beatiful Italian spa town is very exclusive. (The streets seem to be full of BMW X5s, Range Rovers, Audi’s). Designer shops as well. Also ideal to explore the Tuscany area (Lucca, Siena and Pisa) Hotel has a nice pool. The only niggle was that the beds we had weren’t "fully supportive". They sagged! Other than that - still impressed.

Great Hotel but Montecatini lacking
We could not fault the Hotel, service was excellent throughout. Breakfast choice was very good. Dinner great value and good choice. Extras such as afternoon tea also very reasonable. The only downside was Montecatini Terme. Many Hotels but not much else.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
We did not enter a Spa, although there appears little else to Monticatini Terme other than Hotels. In June it was very quiet, very few people, two good restaurants found but the place lacks the interesting bars we come to expect of Italy (e.g. Lucca)
