The hotel staff were very friendly and check in was very smooth. The location was the main reason for us choosing this hotel.

Excellent!
We have just returned from a week at the Royal Plaza and would definitely go again. We found the service excellent - if there is anything you would like that is not automatically provided just ask. Their aim is to please It is a smoke-free hotel with comfortable bedrooms, super breakfast and in a perfect location for exploring Singapore. There are some bus stops immediately outside the hotel with further bus stops and Orchard MRT station approximately 200 metres up the road. The express coaches for the Zoo and Bird Park also stop in the lay-by outside the hotel We opted for the Expedia Special Rate including breakfast, which was definitely good value. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided in the room together with a mini-bar which is re-stocked daily with a limited selection of water, soft drinks and beer. The free internet worked well and the safe was large enough to accommodate a laptop or good-sized camera and accessories. Our room was not large but quite adequate for a tourist hotel. The linen was changed regularly and we had a good walk-in shower. I don’t think any of the rooms have attractive views over the city but the convenient location made up for that. The swimming pool area is very relaxing after a long day sightseeing! I would recommend this hotel as a very comfortable base for sightseeing and we could not fault the service.

Not Very Happy
Quite dissapointed with my hotel room, the room was quite cramped, not happy with the quality of the linen used, the Breakfast spread was quite good.
