Shabby Chic :(
We arrived late in the evening; you have to check in at another location and pick up the key, then go to the apartment. The apartment was filthy. The carpets were dirty (and fastened down with duck tape), the furniture was shabby. The kitchen surfaces and utensils were not clean. We would not use the kitchen facilities as everything was so dirty. The bathroom had something left down the tile wall (!?), the shower was dirty and the shower curtain was stained. We tried to use the bathroom in the morning without touching anything. The beds were very uncomfortable; the double bed sagged in the middle so we spent all night clinging to the edges. The next day I asked for a change of room, which they arranged. The second room was better, but still looked grubby. Best avoid Urban Chic. Don’t be fooled by the four stars.

Very central to everywhere
Pleasant stay in Liverpool hotel was clean and comfortable although could have doe with a bit of upkeep in kitchen area. Great place to stay if you are shopping as new Liverpool one shopping centre within a stones throw.

very misleading
Do not book this hotel if your main reason is for the convenience of being near the dock/ shopping district. No taxi driver in Liverpool has any idea where it is and the picture online is nothing like the building itself. You also have to check in, in a totally different district of Liverpool where you are given the keys and sent on your way. This was a huge inconvenience as I had just arrived off the ferry in the rain with a pram and luggage and has to traipse around liverpool and clock up a massive taxi fare which the hotel then refused to reimburse me for. The kitchen was not clean and the beds were very uncomfortable.
