Rome Short Break
We undertook at 4 day trip to Rome and decided to book a tour around Rome on Day 1 and Pompie on Day 2. The flights, hotel check in was very smooth, Rome itself is a wonderfull place to visit. Overall I would do the trip again even though there were a few niggles, those being. Rome can be very exspensive in parts of the City. Our room allthough supposidly a delux was just a standard room and lacked tea and coffee making facilities. The tours allthough worthwile were spoilt in part by the tour operater gathering people too early (06:30am) and then leaving us to wait in the coach fo 30 to 45 minutes. The guides themselves were very good and knowledgable.

Excellent Hotel
Excellent Hotel, staff cannot do enough for you, even printed our flight tickets for us. Breakfast was a feast ! Champagne & smoked salmon along with all the usual. Great courtesy car facility into the centre of Rome. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely romm with great service. Definately would go back. Very classy hotel, bar prices quite steep 15.00 for bottle lager and a coke !!!!
Traveller's tip on dining
Look out for the restaurants in the back streets where they can be just as good but half the price of the ones in the squares.

Perfect Stay in Rome
Aldrovandi was great. The staff there were professional and friendly. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely stay there when we visit Rome again in the near future.
