Urgently needs refurbished
Whilst the location was good, the food in the restaurant above average and the service generally very good, the hotel itself was sorely in need of refurbishment. My standard room had peeling wallpaper and patches of damp above the shower. The bath plug didnt work and the decor of both the room and lobbies was tired and worn approaching shabby. The restaurant area was oppressively dark too. It may be that the more expensive rooms are better maintained but on the basis of my experience of staying on the fifth floor, I shant be going back.
