Straight-forward, good value

The hotel is embedded in Aston University as part of its conference facilities. The rooms range from the simple to the more luxurious. It is what you would expect from a modern business hotel: clean, secure, calm, with free wifi and a friendly enough staff. Bar stays open till midnight, prices are reasonable. About ten minutes walk from Birmingham city center, and close to a taxi stand, communications are easy. There is nothing specially fantastic about this hotel but I’d stay there again if I had a business trip to the city. For families, or young couples, probably not the ideal place.

Overnight stop on business

Very good location in the city centre, comfortable room and good service. The only difficulty was in acually trying to find the building, in a University campus type area it was not very easy to finds.

Make sure you have a location printout of the building.

A lovely hotel in a central location

We booked this hotel the night before travelling. We didn’t expect too much from the hotel as it was set in the grounds of the university. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is contemporary and finished to a very high standard. The art work and furnishings give a very inviting appeal. It was a 10 min walk to the Bullring and a further 10 mins to Brindley Place and Broad street. A great find would definately return
