Friendly village pub
It’s a pub with a few rooms in a small, quiet village near the A1. I only stayed one night to break a journey, but found it to be friendly, comfortable and quiet. Just what I needed. Food in the bar was also good, and it has some good beers. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and much better and cheaper than the motorway service station boxes.

A lovely small Inn in a tiny hamlet
We found the hotel well kept and very clean. The restaurant served excellent food at a modest price. We would certainly stay here again if in the area.
