Fantastic experience
The hotel bar has a fantastic city view which is one of my best memories of Osaka. My husband and I had dinner in one of the restaurants and the quality was superb we didn’t want to have the burden of picking dishes here and there so we went for the menu and it was delicious. The hotel has fantastic boutiques and an art gallery that deserves to be seen. The concierge desk is very helpful for hints and tips on how to spend your days in Osaka. Hyatt Regency Osaka is actually located across the street from Osaka’s WTC which has an ATM and post office inside (by subway stop P10 - Trade Center-mae). I did not find this information in the hotel description and I think it is necessary to mention this for non-Japanese speaking travellers. When my husband and I got to Osaka we had some trouble finding the shuttle provided by Hyatt so we took a taxi and it wasn’t easy to explain where we wanted to go as most taxi drivers barely understood English. We had a misleading google map in our hands that placed the hotel in Shinsaibashi area and is actually nearest to Nanko port. Our taxi driver had to stop to ask a passer-by where the hotel was to verify that he thought it was in front of the WTC.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
When we landed in Osaka we had a google map in our hands but for some reason the location where the hotel appears if you type the hotel name is not the right one as it appears to be nearby Shinsaibashi and is actually nearest to Nanko port. Don’t rely on google maps and don’t underestimate this city. Most taxi drivers barely understand English. Take the subway, taxis are very expensive.

Extraordinary Service
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, then traveled to Toyko leaving most of our luggage at the Hyatt (taking a cruise from Kobe). Upon our return, the hotel staff went above-and-beyond the call of duty to ensure our taxi knew exactly where to take us in Kobe. What a customer focused thing to do!

Study Location
The location of this hotel was certainly not "central", but the frequent shuttle buses to Osaka Station ran well and made the location much more convenient. Near the hotel however was the wonderful Osaka Aquarium - well worth visiting.
