Extremely good value for money...
Its definitely not the Four Seasons, however if you are looking for amazing value for money, look no further in Cape Town than the St Georges. I didn’t find any other hotel in the whole of South Africa that came even close on the price, which included breakfast. Rooms are clean, the location is bang in the middle of town, service is pleasant. Helpful attendants who gave extremely good advise on places to visit in Cape Town (along with thye most detailed road map drawn on paper!). If you are looking for a low cost, clean and safe option, this hotel does the job.

Good downtown hotel
This is an older hotel, but the staff are great. It is well located, right in the middle of downtown. It is a little hard to find on your first visit. Advise calling in advance for directions.
