only negative was hot tub not working and pool a little on chilly side - but not bad like reviews we saw earlier

GOOD FOR QUICK TRAVEL
The Ramada in in Laramie is a decent place to stay while on the road to somewhere else. It’s not the most luxurious, but plenty comfortable when all one is doing is finding a place to sleep. The room was ok, albeit there is something left to be desired in the cleanliness; the maid service must have been in a rush last time they cleaned. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, with plenty to choose from! We’d book it again, but hold it in reserve as a second choice if there were comparable accommodations elsewhere. Certainly easy access to the town and to the highway though!

nice, clean, quiet.
Yes, per other reviews, this is an older property, but we were very comfortable there. The room as sufficiently clean, the beds and bedding very comfortable. Ask for a room on the quiet side to avoid the sound of the trains and highway. Breakfast was substantial; the wireless and TV worked well. And we even got a great dining recommendation from the gal who checked us in. (Try Altitude, and if you like beer, ask for one of the beer samplers.) I expect that renovations will go on at some point, when the economy clears, but this was a fine value.
