Incredible Hotel
Hotel has excellent restaurants and bars built in to the hotel. It is also connected to an underground shopping mall with restaurants and subway system.

Nice hotel
It is a bit far from downtown, but the COEX mall is just next to the hotel, where you can check in and catch the airport bus, there are plenty of cafes, etc. Do not miss the Kimchi Museum. The hotel is really good, with some minor issues (aircon did not work properly on the South side, it was getting really hot at night, so we were given another room on the other side and received a bottle of wine as a gift).
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Breakfast at the hotel is expensive. Go down to the COEX mall instead, there are a lot of cafes and an excellent bakery near the subway entrance.
