Very pleasant guest house
Couldn’t fault it. Very friendly, and well organised. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and well stocked up with tea and coffee etc. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Location was good. A quiet area of town, and within reasonable walking distance to the centre. Couldn’t ask for more really.

Nice guest house, good location
Very happy with our stay, the room was small but comfortable and clean with a great view. Good breakfast and a very friendly atmosphere. A great location to see Bath.

South of Bath
It may be in the opposite direction to Bath city centre when arriving at Bath Spa Stn. but proved to be an excellent choice.Lovely quiet house a bit like staying in someones home,lovely breakfast. I intend to stay at Astor House again because there were many things that i didn`t have time to see in Bath.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Just around the corner from Astor House is a bar called the Bear where we had a really good meal.It is in an area called Bear Flat which had other restaurants that would be a good alternative to eating in central Bath.
