Very nice hotel
We stayed at the Julian for one night in October and were very happy with the level of hospitality they offered. The front desk was great...very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable, and the surrounding area (2 blocks) offered a lot of options in terms of food and drinks. My only issue was that the room seemed to offer little in the way of sound proofing...we easily and clearly heard the people in in the next rooms conversation. Other than that, great hotel, great service.

Hotel Julien Dubuque
I would definitely recommend staying at this Hotel! It is an old downtown hotel that was completely renovated. It is very nice. The restaurant serves very good food at a very reasonable price. The rooms are very nicely decorated and very comfortable. High class place. Great for a romantic get-away!

Perfectly Redone
The Julien was an wonderful surprise. I’d never seen the hotel before it’s renovation, but the end result is fantastic. Gorgeous facility, reasonably priced, excellent affordable restaurants on-site, and perfectly situated. Passing up the Julien when staying in the Dubuque area would be a mistake.
