Not quite what we expected but a pleasant enough stay
The hotel describes itself as serviced apartments, which was odd. Nevertheless, the hotel staff were great and the free Tuk Tuk service a real boon. Breakfast was excellent and the rooftop pool a good place to relax at the end of the day. The room was large and comfortable but the bath/shower was badly designed and difficult to get into and out of. Despite the description, there were no cooking utensils, though eating out is so cheap we wouldnt have used them anyway. Free internet access was very welcome. Taxi drivers have no idea where this hotel is. Our driver from the airport took 15 minutes and several directions from locals to find it. However, its only 10 mins walk from the Skytrain & MTB stations, both services being dirt cheap.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Travelling around Bangkok is cheap. Use the Skytrain or MTB to get across town quickly then a tuk tuk (fun or scary, depending on your outlook) or a taxi. River ferries are cheap, too.

Pleasant stay
Were upgraded to one-bedroom suite, which is very nice and large. Rooms are clean and comfy. I even had problem not wanting to leave the room! Breakfast was good. Would love to go back again.
