A stinky Valentine
Outside of the hotel looks nice. Inside the king size room is very small and no closet. it stinks. the window coverings were broken. They only have one cleaning person. At night, if you are the last one in. There is no parking space. They have a cheap clothing rack on wheels with a lovely assortment of hangers. Nice view of the mountains.

Chantico, a great place
We were worried about staying at an out of the way place like Ojai, but the Chantico made the stay most enjoyable. Large screen TV, some pretty architecture as well as a friendly staff. I would have preferred a slightly more substantial continental breakfast (crackers and coffee and juice), otherwise an excellent place to stay with great staff. As a side note, the hotel was recently rebuilt, the old spanish doors were converted into ceiling decor.
If you have the time, take Highway One in CA, it has beautiful scenery and lots of places and beaches to rest by and go exploring.
