Nice hotel
The hotel is very modern, clean and convenient location. Only few minutes to get to a tram station, few supermarket & pubs are behid the hotel but not too noisy. Only one thing disappointed us at arrival was, we had to change our rooms 3 times! Because, there was not "king size bed" what we paid for - all the rooms have 2 x single bed as it is business hotel. The staff did not say any thing about it, in fact their excuse was problems with computer and just kept offering a different room. The second room we were offered was, already prepared for some bodys stay with personal gift and message!!! In the end, we accepted a corner room on the 3rd floor called exective floor(?!) - still 2 single beds though. Airconditioner is controlled by the reception so it depends on how locals feel - be aware. Amenities are good but only the first two days you can get freebie: toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush & paste, comb, razor, cotton buds & wools and nail file) and 2 x large bottles of water. Tea & Coffee are reasonably replaced daily.
Traveller's tip on dining
One cafe right behind the hotel called FRIENDS serves nice food and value for money - no need to pay "travellers rate" in the central area. There is no English menue but the staff are helpful. We had dinner every night - Scnitzel (pork), pasta dishes and Friends grill (big enough to share by 2 people) are all recommended. A small salada, main dish and 2 bottles of local beer for two is about 18-25 euros.
