Good for business, just ok for leisure.
I think this hotel is ok for business travelers, but for a leisure traveler I dont think this one provides the best experience and Id pass next time. The problem is that it seemed like every little thing in the room had a price tag on it or came with an outrageous extra charge. Need to use the umbrella, contact the lobby for pricing, want a different kind of pillow, contact the lobby for pricing, need to use the internet, 20 euro charge no problem. I mean even the mini bar is one of those kinds where if you accidentally touch something it electronically bills you automatically. Charging extra for everything is ok if you are a business traveler and someone else is paying, but if you are a leisure traveler and have put down your own hard earned money (especially at what you pay a night here), wondering if you are going to be charged for every little thing in the room takes away from the leisure experience in my view. Instead of being relaxing and fun, it was actually borderline stressing (like am I going to be charged if I use this coffee mug, it does say it can mine for the low price of 20 euro). The good things is that the location is the best in Helsinki and the room was very comfortably furnished. But otherwise I would suggest leisure travelers try something else.
