Fantastic staff, fantastic apartment, fantastic location
I have just come back from staying in this wonderful apartment hotel. It is bright, modern, well-maintained and the staff are wonderful! I had to be rushed into hospital and the staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful or obliging! They were very concerned for my well-being. These apartments are very handy and close to the centre of the city and the tram network. It is also well within easy walking distance of the station (we took a day trip to Freiburg, capital of the Black Forest - very easy and excellent!). There is a Monoprix just around the corner where you can do food shopping (in the basement) and this meant we could have breakfast in our apartment and make a packed lunch which saved us masses of money! You could easily cook an evening meal in the extremely well equiped apartment kitchen, which has a large fridge, cooker, microwave/grill, kettle, coffee maker and dish washer! A great stay and I shall certainly return again to this lovely city and hotel.
Au Petit Bois Vert in La Petite France is a lovely and inexpensive restaurant with a very ancient plain tree outside. We also had lovely meals at Au Pont Saint-Martin and went twice to Aux Armes du Strasbourg in Place Gothenberg - a real favourite with the locals! We felw to Basle Mullhouse and then caught the No. 11 bus outside the airport to Gare St. Louis. From here, you can get a direct train to Strasbourg. This was much easier as there were more flights than to Strasbourg Airport. The 3 day Strasbourg Voucher Book can be bought from the Tourist Office by the Cathedral for 11 Euros. It is supposed to be used on 3 consecutive days, but if you tear out the vouchers before presenting them, you can use it for longer! We also bought a 24 hour TRIO tram ticket (very cheap) which allowed the 3 of us unlimited tram journeys for a whole day and the following morning.

We couldn’t fault this hotel
It took us a little while to find the hotel as its in a pedestrian st. but we relaxed immediately as you can just tell when you are in a good place. From the warm welcome to the beautiful room, tasteful decoration, excellent sound proofing, comfortable beds, awesome position, added extras like a recipee collection and good magazines, nice products that are environmentally friendly, and air conditioning that works!! We were in a 1br appartment with our 2yo son and his grandmother and are regular travellers in 4-5* hotels and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you to all the staff.
