This is not a 4 Star hotel
This not a 4 Star Hotel (or even 3 Star!) The standards did not match the rating. The decor and appearence is very tired. The room and bathroom were dated. The towels in the bathroom were dreadful. The breakfast was poor and expensive for what was offered. The staff were not particularly helpful or welcoming. Someone else’s bar bill was added to our checkout bill. Parking in nearby public car park is expensive. The hotel should negotiate a deal for residents. This hotel is poor value.

Clean bedrooms, uncomfortable bed
Despite the hotel’s exterior, the interior was lovely, especially the atrium. Bedroom was clean. Only downside was the bed was solid as a rock and I couldn’t sleep well. Also, be aware that they will not let you check in a minute before 2pm, which is unfortunate if you are coming from North America and your flight arrives early in the morning.

Good for the money
The only downside to our stay is that we booked a double room but was given a twin, this was quickly sorted out for us and a much nicer room was allocated. The staff were very friendly and polite and if I were to stay in Brighton again it would definatly be at this hotel.
