Pleasant hotel
As long as you dont expect the London Hilton its a pleasant hotel. Staff very helpful and pleasant and breakfast was very good. Paying for the car parking was unusual but in fact payment was waived due to the computer being down on our checkout. Room rates very reasonable when booked through expedia.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Try and avoid rooms close to the lifts and choose those facing the A50 rather than the M1 as they are quiter.

Parking problems
This otherwise excellent hotel stay was marred by confusion at reception at 2.00am [it is after all an airport hotel]. Reception seemed to think we were parking there before our hols, whereas its was on our return as we had a late flight. Given wrong info over bay nos, charges etc. and to cap it all we had to pay £5 even though we had stayed overnight. I am still not clear what the system is and in no mood to to take on details at 2am when we just wanted to get our head down. Emailed to inform of late arival, but computer registered it as no show lovely!! Hilton should produce a brochure that clients can study beforehand.

Great service and great breakfast make up for a room in need of renovation
Excellent service, very friendly staff, in all areas: reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping. Free shuttle service to and from EMA. Room was in need of repairs: Loud vent of AC unit, old carpet with permanent stains, just a little run-down. Besides carpet, which housekeeping cannot do anything about, the room was very clean.
Make sure to call the hotel (number available at EMA arrivals info desk) to be picked up from the terminal and save yourself the cab fare.
